«Greening the Curricula of Canadian Schools of Architecture» initiative which was begun in Montreal in 2002 and has since held symposia in Quebec City (2004) and Winnipeg (2007). This website is intended to act as Canadian forum for exchange of ideas on issues of design and sustainability. In order to promote a lively and active discussion, it has been organized around a carefully defined pedagogical protocol. On a rotating basis, each School will be asked to host the site for a debate cycle. The website as a whole will document the «sustainability» debate as it unfolds in Canadian Schools of Architecture. As the number of debate cycles increases, the national editorial committee will attempt to frame the various debate topics in a broader context.
Destined to encourage the exchange of questions, ideas and general information, and although it is regularly open to public reactions and comments, this is not a professional consulting website. The scientific counsel has the right to discard from the blog domain all comments which are judged inappropriate to the objectives of the forum.
